On the Blue has announced their new craft beer and music cruise, titled The Lebrewski Cruise, the first cruise to marry craft beers and music from around the country, sailing out of Miami aboard the Norwegian Pearl from March 1-5, 2016.
This four-night, full-charter inaugural voyage will visit tropical ports Nassau/Paradise Island and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas and feature daily craft beer tastings; live performances from over 20 renowned bands from multiple genres of music and hosted by brewer and member of The String Cheese Incident Kyle Hollingsworth (who is also performing). Sponsors for the event include the American Homebrewers Association and The Brewing Network.
On the music side, the inaugural The Lebrewski Cruise will be headlined by O.A.R. (Of A Revolution), who are known for their intense, vibrant live shows (including selling out Madison Square Garden twice), which are highlighted by the communal feeling shared by their fans. Their American Rock and Jam Band sound is loved by fans across the country.
From Jam, Folk, Americana to Indie Rock, Alternative Country, Celtic Rock and much more, The Lebrewski Cruise is a virtual music sampler. Joining O.A.R. aboard the ship is the Kyle Hollingsworth Band; Michael Kang of The String Cheese Incident; Jason Hann, also of The String Cheese Incident and his band, Rhythmatronix; Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers; The Samples; Jared & The Mill; Eufórquestra; Young Dubliners; Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown; Hollis Brown; Alpha Rev; Andy Frasco and Raelyn Nelson. In addition, iconic Southern Rock artists will also rock the ship, including: Molly Hatchet; The Fabulous Thunderbirds; Blackfoot featuring Rickey Medlocke of Lynyrd Skynyrd; Doc Holliday; Stolen Rhodes; Sour Diesel Trainwreck and Thomas Wynn & the Believers. Fans will have access to multiple private concerts, Q&A sessions and more.
This cruise will also feature big names in the craft beer world. Hailing from landmark breweries and being highlighted on the ship are celebrity brewers including Jeff Brown from Boulder Beer; Joey Redner from Cigar City Brewing; Ron Lindenbusch from Lagunitas Brewing Co and Jeremy Moyner from Stone Brewing with more to be announced.
